Emissions reduction potentials assessed in 15 developing countries

A new report assesses the CDM status and potential in 15 countries of the Caribbean, Pacific, Africa and Asia.

The UNEP Risoe Centre has released a report assessing the status of CDM development and capacity building, along with the CDM opportunities that exist in Angola, Belize, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Fiji, Ghana, Haiti, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Myanmar, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal, and Trinidad and Tobago.

The report is a compilation of individual country profiles prepared with support of the Designated National Authorities. The compilaton report is available on-line, along with the country profiles for Angola, Belize, Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Myanmar, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, and Senegal.
